Our Sixth-Annual Holiday Lights Contest Is Underway Now!
Making Munster Merry and Bright
Do you love decorating for the holidays and seeing all of the twinkling lights and festive fun? Our sixth-annual Holiday Lights house decorating contest is underway now and we have 30 Munster houses and blocks joining in with great holiday spirit! It's a fantastic opportunity to get into the holiday spirit and engage in some friendly competition in your neighborhood and town, all while benefiting local schools.
Here's how to join the fun
Register Your House or Block
30 Munster houses and blocks have registered in our annual contest and are ready for you to visit this holday season! Registration for new houses is closed, but be sure to look below for a curated map of the holiday homes!
Take a Ride to View the Holiday Lights
Ride a fun, festive bus or trolley around Munster and view the beautifully decorated homes participating in the Holiday Lights contest!
Private trolley rides take place Friday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Holiday bus rides take place Saturday, Dec. 6, at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Festive bus rides are $15 a person. This year, we'll also offer the opportunity to reserve a mini bus seating 14 people for $250. In addition, 34-seat private trolleys are available for $750. Every rider will receive a pair of 3-D glasses and a sweet treat.

Each decorated home in our Merry & Bright Holiday Lights Contest is collecting votes to win our competition, with the proceeds benefiting Munster schools.
